Creme egg brownies

I made these to take into work at Easter, and I'm very behind with updating the blog so I'm not even sure if you can buy creme eggs outside of Easter?? Anyway, there were lots of recipes on the internet so here's my take on them using my special brownie recipe which I'm not going to share with you as it's a secret... sorry. But if you do want to make them, it's very easy. Using your favourite brownie recipe, make the brownies and cook them for 10 minutes or until just starting to bake on top. Take them out the oven and push in the chopped creme eggs (I cut mine into quarters - put them in the fridge prior to chopping so you don't get goo eerywhere). Then bake for the rest of the time required by your recipe. You don't just have to limit this to creme eggs - you could put anything you like in really. Caramel would work well, as would Bounty and Aero.
