Yorkshire pudding... what can I say? We all love a good Yorkshire pudding, and it's such a cheap, quick and easy food to make!
Bob is the Yorkshire Pudding maker in our house but I'm not too bad myself. Here's how we make ours.
2 heaped tbsp plain flour
2 eggs
milk
Heat oven to about 200 Celsius. Once the oven is hot put a tray/dish/bun tin in with sunflower oil and heat until oil is spitting hot. Beat the eggs and flour together to make a thick paste. Add enough milk to make the consistency of single cream and beat until your arm really hurts, then beat some more. Rest the batter while the oil heats up then pour in the tin and bake for about 20 minutes or until puffed up and golden.
Here's a toad in the hole I made last week using that recipe.
